歩いてく

I'm not sure how you say the title of this post, but it means "And keep walking" in Japanese. At least that's what it means according to the liner notes from Cocco's new album "きらきら." If anyone can supply me with a transliteration of the kanji I would be most grateful. Anyway, here's the video from the second day of the Tokyo trip. This video includes the footage from the Tokyo Game Expo, which was a disorienting mélange of flashing lights, people shouting and hot girls in ridiculous costumes. If you get motion sickness from watching this... good. You're supposed to.

Well, this is, shall we say, cosmic:

"In East Asia the Sun is given the symbol 日 (Chinese pinyin rì) though it is also called 太阳 (tài yáng)."

I just happened to be reading the Wikipedia entry for the Sun, which I had linked in my latest blog entry. That passage can be found near the very bottom of the page, under "Solar Cultural History".
